It is indisputable that radiological examinations are extremely important during diagnosis. With medical imaging systems in our hospital; all conventional X-ray films, IVP (kidney x-ray exam that uses a medication), HSG (uterus x-ray exam that uses a medication), mammography, upper and lower abdominal ultrasonography (USG), Doppler ultrasound and computed tomography (CT) services are performed by our Radiology Department. Staff show maximum care in ensuring that patients are comfortable during the procedures.

Imaging methods available in our hospital;

Computerized Tomography (CT):

CT can create a detailed cross-sectional view of any part of the body and can be used to diagnose many diseases, from soft tissue diseases to fractures. It is frequently used in situations which cannot be identified by other imaging modalities such as direct X-ray and ultrasonography.

In our hospital, any part of the body such as brain, vertebra, thorax, abdomen, bone and pelvic structures can be scanned.

Ultrasonography (US) and Doppler Ultrasonography:
All ultrasonographic examinations such as abdomen, pelvic, kidney, thyroid, thorax, breast, hip, child and cranial ultrasonography are performed in our hospital. In addition to these examinations, ultrasound-guided fine needle aspiration and biopsy, liquid aspiration procedures can be performed.

Vascular structures and blood flow can be evaluated in detail with color Doppler Ultrasonography. Upper and Lower Extremity Arterial and Venous System Color Doppler Ultrasonography, Portal Doppler, Carotid and Vertebral Artery Doppler, Scrotal Doppler, Gynecologic and Obstetric Doppler, Renal Artery Doppler and graft evaluation can also be performed.

Contrasted Studies:
Excretory urography, cystography and retrograde urography are genito-urinary system studies that can be performed in our hospital. All hysterosalphingographies are performed under the guidance of a gynecologist and the images are interpreted by our radiology specialist.

Mammography:
Mammography is a special examination method using X-rays in the diagnosis of breast cancer and other benign breast diseases. Mammography is used to perform mammographic examinations for screening and diagnosis of asymptomatic patients. USG-guided fine needle aspiration and biopsies can also be performed where necessary.

In open MR systems, the study is usually carried out in a spacious and less noisy environment open on 3 sides. An open MRI provides a comfortable environment to people with anxiety disorders or claustrophobia (fear of indoor space), overweight patients, patients with shortness of breath who can not lie down flat or without elevating their head and child (pediatric) patients difficult to cooperate with. This new generation device has array technology. It can perform all types of imaging including brain, cervical, lumbar, thoracic, whole abdominal, wrist, knee, elbow, shoulder, hip.
